Colon Cancer Screening

Colon Cancer Screening

There has been a noted increase in colon cancer in those younger than age 50. As a result, the USPSTF recommendations have lowered the recommended age for initial colon cancer screening. Based on these recommendations, most insurance companies are now paying for patients to have testing starting at age 45. We have partnered with Cologuard for those who are at average risk for colon cancer (no personal or family history of colon cancer, Lynch syndrome, or colon polyps). Please see www.cologuard.com to find out more.
