Pink eye & styes

Pink eye, also called conjunctivitis, is very common in children and highly contagious. Styes form when bacteria enters the edge of your eyelashes.
Pink eye is redness and swelling of the white part of your eyes. Styes are swelling and pain of the eyelid. You get it when an infection or irritant gets into your eye. 


Things you should know before your visit

Patients with the following may be directed to another health care provider:● "Double vision" or seeing "halos" around lights● Severe headache with nausea
● Eye injury or foreign body in the eye
