Mouth & oral conditions

There are a number of often-visible conditions that may cause discomfort in speaking, eating and drinking. if you have any of this signs, it can be oral thrush, also called candidiasis, hairy tongue, hand, foot & mouth disease or dry mouth syndrome.


These signs are: ● Sores in your mouth● Pain in your mouth● White or yellow patches in your mouth or on your tongue● Dry mouth● Funny taste in your mouth● Sores on your gums or tongue

Things you should know before your visit

Patients with the following may be directed to another health care setting:● Pregnant women with oral thrush/candidiasis● Severe symptoms with signs of a more serious condition● Co-existing genital ulcers● Persistent symptoms lasting more than 3 weeks

● We will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, examination and provide a personalized treatment plan for you.● You may need testing. Please note that additional charges apply for these tests. ● At the end of your visit, your practitioner will provide you with a summary, a receipt and educational material.
