Flu-like symptoms

Flu is a respiratory infection caused by RNA viruses of the family Orthomyxoviridae (the influenza virus). Symptoms usually include fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing and weakness or discomfort. The flu often appears as a more severe form of the common cold. In many cases it can be confused with other viral infections


Things you should know before your visit

Patients with the following may be directed to another health care provider:● Severe shortness of breath or difficulty breathing● Severe chest pain● Recent history of MRSA● Renal insufficiency, liver disease or chronic lung disease
